Art Schmitt,
President & CEO

Art Schmitt has served as DTx’s President and Chief Executive Officer since its inception in 1991. Art brings a unique combination of education and experience to the daily operations of DTx.  With undergraduate and graduate study in psychology and psychometric measurement combined with subsequent study of finance and technology management, Art has helped form DTx’s culture of mutual respect, accountability, and creativity. 

Art also worked for 15 years as a CPA in both public accounting for Ernst & Young and as VP of Finance for several technology companies.  That experience enables Art to also function as DTx’s VP of Finance.  Art’s strong financial and business systems analysis background gives DTx an advantage over other technology companies traditionally headed by Engineers.  That DTx has been profitable for all 21 years of its existence while experiencing consistent year to year growth and superior customer satisfaction clearly demonstrates that advantage.
